PARIS The US announced the release of a further $71 million in aid to the Palestinian Authority yesterday at a donors conference to boost self rule in the autonomous West Bank and Gaza Strip.
The Minister of State at the, Department of Foreign Affairs, Ms Joan Burton, renewed Ireland's pledge of support to the Palestinians by announcing an increase in aid to $2 million at the conference.
