Chicago - The US unit of the Japanese car company, Mitsubishi, has agreed to pay $34 million (£24 million) to settle a sexual harassment suit filed on behalf of 300 women employees, the company and a US federal agency announced yesterday.
The amount is the largest ever paid in a sexual harassment case, said Mr Paul Igasaki, chairman of the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission.
