Washington - Some of the United States' largest online and media firms are planning voluntary measures to limit minors from accessing Internet pornography sites, press reports said. The announcement is expected during a three-day meeting that aims to underscore the industry's concern over child access to Internet pornography in an effort to avert content regulations on the global computer network, the Washington Post said.

The Supreme Court in June struck down a law that would have made Internet indecency a crime and many firms are trying to block further legislative action on the issue.
