United Drug has formed a joint venture with Medco Health Solutions to provide UK patients with home-based pharmacy care services.
The joint venture will operate in the UK as Medco plans to offer patients treated within the NHS homecare services ranging from prescription drug dispensing and home-delivery, to on-site nursing.
Liam FitzGerald United Drug chief executive said the joint venture would work closely with the NHS to ensure the service offerings fully meet UK health system requirements.
