Pharmaceutical wholesaler and distributor United Drug has bought a British packaging company in a deal worth £11.4 million.

Pharmaceutical wholesaler and distributor United Drug has bought a British packaging company in a deal worth £11.4 million.

United Drug paid £7.4 million for Swindon-based TD Packaging, which provides packaging services to pharmaceutical and healthcare manufacturers.

Under the terms of the deal, United Drug will pay TD Packaging a further amount of up to £4 million if it achieves agreed profit targets over the next three years.
