Luanda - The Angolan army said yesterday it had found a massive UNITA heavy arms depot near the central town of Andulo and that its troops had killed 400 rebels in operations close to the south-eastern border.
A senior officer in the Angolan Armed Forces (FAA) told state media that the 100-tonne cache included large quantities of chemical weapons as well as other arms stocked 700 km south-east of the capital.
