Luanda - Ten UN workers have gone missing and three others were seriously injured after an ambush blamed on "armed gangs" north of the Angolan capital of Luanda, a government official said yesterday.

The incident occurred near Ndalatando, some 250km north of Luanda, as the group was bringing food supplies to the troubled Uije province.
