UK names envoy to Hong Kong

HONG KONG - Britain yesterday announced the appointment of a new ambassador to China. Mr Tony Galsworthy (52), a former senior representative on the Sino British joint liaison group on Hong Kong affairs, will take up the post in December. He will replace Sir Len Appleyard, who will retire.
