A doctor's surgery in Co Tyrone was destroyed by a gas explosion today.

Nobody was injured in the blast in Crossowen Road, Clogher.

Emergency services were called out, and nearby roads were sealed off. One of the GPs at the practice, Dr Walter Boyd, said it could be some time before another surgery was opened in Clogher.

"It appears the building will have to be demolished, and it certainly is a devastating loss, but my priority is to save lives, and nobody has been hurt in this fire," he said.
