The PSNI has said it suspects dissident republicans are behind a pipe-bomb attack on a police station in Strabane, Co Tyrone, last night.

The device was thrown at the rear of the building at around 9.15pm last night.

There were no injuries, although slight damage was caused to some nearby properties. Residents were evacuated from their homes until the area was declared safe.
