Two women in their late 20s are due to appear ìn court in Dublin this morning charged with offences relating to the seizure of counterfeit equipment yesterday.

The women were arrested by gardai from the National Immigration Bureau after equipment for making false documents was found in a house in Naas, Co Kildare yesterday.

The search of the house in Aylmer Park uncovered black Dutch, British, Irish and Nigerian passports. Blank Irish driving licences, Nigerian driving permits and blank Nigerian birth certificates were also found.

The two women were detained overnight at Naas Garda Station.
