Two women were arrested in Limerick today when gardaí discovered 4 kilos of cocaine as part of a surveillence operation in the city.

The women, aged 24 and 26, are being detained at Roxboro Road Garda station under the provisions of section 4 of the Criminal Justice Act, 1984.

According to a garda spokesman the cocaine could have an estimated street value of up to €280,000.
