An Afghan army soldier killed two US troops before killing himself in northeast Afghanistan today, US military said in a statement.
The Afghan soldier fired at the US soldiers, killing one, and wounding two others, one of whom died later from his injuries, US military added.
The incident happened at around 10:00am, before US President Barack Obama unveiled his new strategy review of Afghanistan and Pakistan which includes strengthening Afghan national security forces.
