Two men charged with the murder of Mr Michael Shannon (34), of Connolly Villas, Ennis, Co Clare, were remanded for a further week in custody to Ennis District court next Friday.
Mr Michael Nihill (25), of Churchdrive, Clarecastle, and Mr Joseph O'Halloran (29), of Newpark Road, London, are both charged with the murder of Mr Shannon on Sunday, April 2nd, at Lysaght's Lane, Ennis.
Both were granted bail at the High Court last month but have been unable to meet the bail conditions as set down by the High Court, the court was told.
