A woman who was injured in a house fire in Ennis, Co Clare yesterday evening remains in a serious condition in a Dublin hospital today.
The woman and a man, both in their 40s, sustained serious burns in the fire, which broke out in a ground floor flat in the Pearse Avenue area shortly before 7.30pm.
They were taken to Ennis General Hospital after being rescued by gardaí.
The woman was moved to St James’s Hospital in Dublin last night. The injured man is understood to be in a stable condition.
