Two men were arrested in Donegal this morning in connection with a serious assault on a pensioner in the town two weeks ago.
The 74-year-old victim was assaulted in his home in Clarcam, just north of Donegal town, on November 17th. He was badly beaten in the attack.
The two men are being detained in Letterkenny Garda station under Section 4 of the Criminal Justice Act 1984.
