Two men arrested following Crumlin bank raid

Two men have been arrested following a raid on a bank on Crumlin Road in Dublin this afternoon.

Two men have been arrested following a raid on a bank on Crumlin Road in Dublin this afternoon.

The raid happened at 12.10pm as two employees of the bank were loading cash into an automatic telling machine.

The two members of staff were confronted by two men, one of whom had a firearm.

The alarm was raised and Gardaí managed to apprehended the men.

No one was injured in the raid and a firearm and all of the money was recovered at the scene.

The two men in their 30's and 40's are being detained in Crumlin and Sundrive Garda Stations.
