Two people died in road accidents in cos Roscommon and Galway at the weekend.
On Saturday night, a pedestrian died after being knocked down by a jeep at Aughnacloy, Boyle, Co Roscommon, shortly before 9 p.m. He was Mr Pat Kerins (72) of Straduff, Gevagh, Boyle.
On Friday evening a woman died in Drimneen, Moycullen, Co Galway, after an accident in the yard of her husband's company premises.
The driver of a bus was reversing the vehicle when it struck Ms Anne Faherty (58), of Drimneen, Moycullen, who was walking behind.
