Johannesburg - Six people were killed when a light plane crashed into the sea off Mozambique in a heavy storm, South Africa's Civil Aviation Authority (CAA) said yesterday.

The owner of the eight-seater Cessna, Mr Steve Griessel, identified those killed in the crash as four South Africans and two Irish brothers who were living in South Africa. Their names had not been released last night.
