Four units of Dublin fire brigade were called to a fire in Ranelagh, Dublin, early yesterday morning, in which two people were injured. The fire broke out at a house of flats on Beechwood Avenue at 3.40 a.m.

Some of the people living in the house were evacuated and one of those injured was transferred from St Vincent's Hospital to the burns unit of St James's Hospital.
