Two people have been treated in hospital following a row over the erection of a boundary fence in Co Cavan.

Two people have been treated in hospital following a row over the erection of a boundary fence in Co Cavan.

According to a Garda spokesman, at least seven people were involved in clashes in Mullaghoran this morning.

A 47-year-old man and a 17-year-old youth were taken to Cavan General Hospital for treatment to cuts to the hands following the incident.

No arrests have been made.
