Two held over Waterford stabbing

Two men are being questioned in connection with a stabbing in Waterford city last night.

Two men are being questioned in connection with a stabbing in Waterford city last night.

The incident happened at about 11pm in Ardmore Park.

The victim, who is aged in his 20s, was transferred to Waterford Regional hospital where he was treated for serious injuries. He has since been discharged.

The two men arrested today are currently being held at Waterford and Tramore Garda stations in relation with the incident.

A 34-year-old man arrested earlier this morning has since been released.
