Two held over Real IRA murder

Two people have been arrested in Derry in connection with the dissident republican murder of Kieran Doherty.

Two people have been arrested in Derry in connection with the dissident republican murder of Kieran Doherty.

The 31-year-old member of the Real IRA was murdered by the organisation in February last year.

A 42-year old man and a 40-year-old woman were detained in Derry this morning.

Both are being questioned at Strand Road police station.
