Two held over Limerick drug seizure

Two men have been arrested in Co Limerick following the seizure of drugs with an estimated street value of €190,000.

Two men have been arrested in Co Limerick following the seizure of drugs with an estimated street value of €190,000.

One man, aged in his 20s was arrested after a search of a house in the Kilmallock area last night during which cannabis with an estimated street value of €20,000 was found.

In a further search a second man, also aged in his 20s was arrested after a car was stopped and searched in Kilmallock and a quantity of cocaine and herbal cannabis worth approximately €170.000 was discovered.

Both men are being held at Bruff Garda Station under Section 2 of the Criminal Justice (Drug Trafficking) Act 1996.
