Two men have been arrested in Co Kilkenny in connection with the seizure of cannabis resin with an estimated street value of €650,000.
They were arrested after gardaí stopped and searched a truck and a car near Castlecomer at about 7.30pm last night.
The two men are being held under Section 2 of the Drug Trafficking Act 1996 at Carlow Garda station.
