Two women have been arrested in Northern Ireland in connection with the death of a Dublin-born man who was found dead after falling from the ninth floor of block of flats in Belfast city last year.

James Murray (19), who was originally from Ballymun, Dublin, was found dead in the courtyard of the flats at King Street at about 6am on December 5th 2009.

He had moved to Belfast from Dublin four months before his death to live with his natural father and his partner at Glendowan Grove in Lagmore in west Belfast.

A 22-year-old woman was arrested for murder and a 48-year-old woman arrested for withholding information surrounding Murray's death.

They were both detained in north Belfast this morning and are currently being questioned by detectives from the PSNI's Serious Crime branch.

A 26-year-old man was charged in connection with Murray's death in December.
