Two men have been arrested and a quantity of jewellery recovered following a burglary at a shop in the Ilac shopping mall in Dublin city centre this morning.
Security guards at the centre contacted gardaí at about 4am this morning and provided a description of the two men involved.
A short time later gardaí in the city centre apprehended two men matching the description on O’Connell Bridge.
The men aged 34 and 32 are currently being held at Store Street Garda station under Section 4 of the Criminal Justice Act 1984.
