Two men are being held in connection with a drug seizure in Co Laois yesterday.
A cannabis-grow operation was discovered during the search of a house in Ballacolla.
Cannabis plants with an estimated street value of €140,000 were seized during the search and two men arrested.
The two are being held under Section 2 of the Criminal Justice (Drug Trafficking) Act, 1996, at Portlaoise Garda station.
