Two men may be charged later today in following a shooting in the Finglas area of Dublin early on Saturday. A man was shot from a car in the arm and leg when he was walking along Cappagh Road, Finglas, at about 2 a.m. He underwent surgery at Beaumont Hospital, where his injuries are not thought to be life-threatening.
Gardai said a decision on charging the men, who were arrested and detained, will be made today.
