Two men are currently being held at Mountjoy Garda Station in Dublin after they were arrested following a high-speed car chase across Dublin early today.
Gardaí on patrol tried to stop a car travelling on the N11 road near Dún Laoghaire at about 12.10am.
When the vehicle failed to stop, a number of garda units pursued the vehicle until it crashed close to Ballybough Bridge.
No injuries were reported.
