Two young girls were injured when they were struck by a car in Mayo this morning.
The girls, aged 6 and 10, were struck by a car in Mulranney on the Mayo to Sligo road. The crash happened at 11.10am.
The injured girls were taken to Mayo General Hospital where one of the girls is in a serious condition.
The road was closed off by gardaí after the crash and will remain closed until 5pm.
