Two men arrested yesterday in connection with the seizure of heroin valued at €1.5 million are to appear in court tomorrow.
Gardaí from the Organised Crime Unit stopped and searched a vehicle at about 2am at the Old North Road in Finglas yesterday and discovered the drugs.
The seizure was part of an ongoing operation into organised crime.
Two men – one in his 50s and the other in his 60s – were arrested at the scene. The pair will appear before a sitting at the Bridewell at 10.30am tomorrow.
