A teenager and a man in his twenties will appear at Coleraine Magistrate's Court later today charged in connection with disturbances following a bonfire in Co Antrim.

The 15-year-old faces charges including possession of a petrol bomb and having equipment suitable for making a petrol bomb.
 
The man  (22) has been charged with throwing a petrol bomb during the disturbances in Ballymena early yesterday morning.

Police were attacked with petrol bombs, paint and stones by a crowd of up to 50 people in the Dunclug estate during the violence.
