Two people have died following road crashes in Co Clare and Co Wexford.
A woman (75) was killed at Carrowncalla, Co Clare, at 7.20pm last night when she was struck by a car while out walking.
Her body has been removed to Limerick Regional Hospital for postmortem.
In Co Wexford a female driver (51) died when her car collided with a truck at Oulart, Gorey, shortly after 2pm yesterday.
She was pronounced dead on arrival at Wexford General Hospital.
So far this year 357 people have died on Irish roads.
