Two people, including an 11 year old child, were killed in traffic accidents on Sunday. Marc McDonald (11), of Doyle Street, Waterford, was killed when a car in which he was travelling collided with another vehicle outside Timolin, Co Kildare.
The driver of a car which crashed into a field near Ballinasloe, Co Galway, was killed in the early hours on Sunday. His name was not being released until relatives had been informed.
