Two people were killed in traffic accidents in Tipperary and Meath last night - bringing to 16 the death toll this year.

Two people were killed in traffic accidents in Tipperary and Meath last night - bringing to 16 the death toll this year.

A 21-year-old man was killed in a two car collision at Ballinattin, Clarihan, near Cahir, Co Tipperary, about 7.30 p.m., and a pedestrian was knocked down and fatally injured at Gormanston, Co Meath, at 10 p.m. Their names were not released last night.
