Two die in Co Down accidents

Two people died as a result of separate road traffic accidents in Co Down yesterday. A 29-year-old man died in hospital from injuries sustained when the car he was driving collided head on with another vehicle on the Banbridge Road, Tullylish, at around 12.15 a.m. Police in Bangor are investigating an accident near the town, which also occurred around 12.15 a.m. A 23-year-old woman passenger was killed when the car she was travelling in left the road at the Coach Hill bend.
