A motorcyclist was killed in a crash in Co Clare this morning.
The man, who has not been named, died after colliding with a car at Ministers Cross outside Newmarket on Fergus at around 10.00am.
He is the 47 thperson to die on the Republic's roads so far this year.
Meanwhile, a man died and another was injured in a crash near Omagh, Co Tyrone last night.
Two cars collided on the Gillygooley Road at Drumquin at 9.15pm.
One driver died while the other was treated in hospital.
Police in Omagh have appealed for anyone with information to help their investigation.
