Two men have been charged after thousands of pounds worth of drugs were uncovered in Northern Ireland, police said today.

The organised swoop on two houses in Dunmurry netted suspected cocaine and cannabis with an estimated street value of £2,600.

Two men were arrested yesterday afternoon following the simultaneous raids at homes in the Foxes Glen area of the village in Greater Belfast.

They were later charged with possession of drugs with intent to supply, according to a PSNI spokeswoman. One man was expected before court today while the other is due to face a hearing on February 6th.
