Two men in their 20s were arrested in relation to the haul of what was believed to be heroin.

Gardaí seized the drugs on St Margaret’s Road, Finglas, at about 1.20am yesterday.

They were last night being detained at Finglas Garda station under suspicion of having committed a drug trafficking offence.

On Tuesday night, a man in his late 20s was arrested and taken to Coolock Garda station on suspicion of drug trafficking offences.

An estimated €25,000 worth of heroin was seized by gardaí in Santry at Edenmore Park, Raheny, Dublin at about 11.30pm.
