A man and a woman were arrested this morning in connection with the death of David Rooney.
Mr Rooney was the victim of an alleged assault on Clonmacnoise Road in Crumlin on July 2nd. He died at St James' Hospital on July 12th.
The two people arrested this morning are both 18 and are being detained under the provisions of Section 4 of the Criminal Justice Act.
The man is being detained at Sundrive Road Garda Station and woman is being held at Crumlin Garda Station.
