JAKARTA - Two workers at a small printing house were arrested and jailed on Monday on charges of defaming President Suharto, a spokesman for the Alliance of Independent Journalists (AJI) said yesterday.
The police confiscated 5,000 copies of the banned magazine Suara Independent (Independent Voice), as well as taking the car of Andi Syahputera (31) which was parked outside the printing house, the AJI said.
