Two arrested over dissident republican activity

Police in Northern Ireland have arrested two men in Co Fermanagh in relation to dissident republican activities.

Police in Northern Ireland have arrested two men in Co Fermanagh in relation to dissident republican activities.

The men were arrested following the search of two houses in Newton Butler and Roslea areas of the county late last night. A number of items were also seized during the search.

The men are being questioned in Antrim police station.

A police spokesman said officers from the crime operations department arrested the men as part of an operation against dissident republican terrorist activities.
