Two men were arrested last night following an armed robbery of about £6,000 at a Crazy Prices store on the Ballyfermot Road, Ballyfermot, Dublin.
Two men wearing balaclavas and baseball caps and armed with a handgun entered the store after 7 p.m. and struck a security man who was collecting money from the cash registers over the head.
They escaped with the cash in a car driven by a third man. The security man was treated for minor head injuries at St James's Hospital. Gardai later recovered the car.
