Two local men were arrested following an armed bank raid in Limerick yesterday morning. The raid was on the Bank of Ireland on the Ennis road in the Cahirdavin area of Limerick. Gardai stopped a car in which the men, in their 20s, made their escape. They recovered money and a firearm. The men were arrested and taken to Henry Street Garda station.
