Tullow Oil said talks to secure rigs for a two-well drilling programme at Ghana are well advanced.

Tullow Oil said talks to secure rigs for a two-well drilling programme at Ghana are well advanced.

The programme is planned for the first quarter of 2008, and a further two- to four-well programme is scheduled for the second quarter.

At Uganda, it said preparations for the Ngassa exploration well are on schedule.
