Mitrovica - French troops from the NATO-led Kfor peacekeeping force blocked off part of the city of Mitrovica yesterday for a weapons search.
A French officer, speaking on condition of anonymity, said the troops were searching the ethnically-mixed Little Bosnia district, in the tense Serb-dominated northern part of town, after a bomb explosion the previous evening.
