Mr Haldene Butler, a triple organ transplant patient, is in the first stages of his recovery, one of his surgeons has stated.
Mr Stephen Pollard said Mr Butler (23), from Omagh, Co Tyrone whose liver, pancreas, and bowel were replaced in an 8 1/2 hour operation last week at St James's Hospital, Leeds, was now out of Intensive care.
