A trial date has been fixed by Dublin Circuit Criminal Court for a second prosecution against a building firm, Zoe Developments Ltd, for an alleged breach of the safety Acts at a building site in 1996.

Judge Frank O'Donnell yesterday listed the case for trial on February 16th, 1999, but also agreed to list it for mention on November 30th next to see how judicial review proceedings in a separate case involving Zoe have progressed.

The judicial review application in the High Court is in relation to a prosecution for alleged safety violations at another site in 1995. The High Court has put a stay on the trial of the 1995 case in the Dublin Circuit Criminal Court pending the outcome of the review.
