A top solicitor has been found dead at his home in Northern Ireland, it was revealed today.

A top solicitor has been found dead at his home in Northern Ireland, it was revealed today.

Eamonn McEvoy (64) lived at Banbridge, Co Down.

A post mortem examination has been carried out and an inquest into his death was expected to be held later.

Mr McEvoy, a father of four, had offices in Belfast and Lurgan, Co Armagh, and owned a number of racehorses.

Former world boxing champion Barry McGuigan was among his closest friends. His funeral is due to take place in Banbridge tomorrow.
